October 25th, 2009

So, alot has happened since we last update the blog!

Rich & I were finally referred to a specialist to help figure out why we continue to have ectopic pregnancies. We have been seeing Dr Foulk in downtown Boise & he and his staff are AMAZING! They discovered that my right tube is completely blocked, making it impossible for my egg to pass through the tube. This is such blessing to know what the problem is and what make plans to move past that problem.
On October 27th, I will begin daily hormone injections, increasing to 3 as the weeks go on. BUT, it will be worth all the pain that comes along with it because... - on November 24th, we will have IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) done! We are both very nervous about the hormones, but we know that this has to happen in order to have a baby.

If anyone has any questions about having the InVitro done, just ask! I am still learning about it as well, still trying to understand but I will answer if I can! We want everyone to feel comfortable with our decision and know as much as possible!

Thanks for all the love & support to all!

Love,
Rich & Jess

Our First Blog!

Hello Everyone!

We decided to start a blog & use this to keep in contact with family/friends & not so much with myspace or facebook (we will still keep those though!).Today's blog will just be an update about our life & what our goals will be for the near future!!

Richard & I moved to Kuna, ID in June of 2007 & we absolutley love it out here! We had our house built & got to be apart of every step! We are both blessed with jobs that we enjoy going to every day. Richard has been with CableOne for over 5 years now; Jessica works at St Al's Boise Pediatrics! Jessica has also began doign direct sales for Aloette Cosmetics the beginning of February & has been doing great so far! Her personal website for Aloette is: http://www.myaloette.biz/jmcdonley .

We were able to take a trip by ourselves to Vegas in June 2008, for Jessica's 21st birthday! We really had fun & enjoyed our time together, alone. We walked up & downthe strip a bizzilion times & took a tour bus trip! We love Vegas & plan to go back when we can to visit!

Shane is still living with us; he is very much a part of this family & always will remain that was, as long as that is what he wants! He loves to go hang out with the boys. He bought a bow at the beginning of this month & is looking forward to hunting season! While we were in Vegas, Shane went to Oregon to spend time with his family & had a nice time for the most part!

Bailee & Tannar (our chocolate labs) are doing great! They are so energetic & happy all the time - we love our girls! They love to go to daycare & hang out wth all their four-legged friends!!

We recently had another ectopic pregnancy (where the egg attaches to the tube), this was our second. Its a very hard thing to go through, physically & emotionally, but we worked together & it only made us stronger as a team! I was told by the radiologist & my doctor that my tubes are normal & to continue trying; which we are going to. Many of our friends are having children of thier own , so until we are blessed enough to become parents, we will enjoy their bundles of joy!

We will continue to update the blog & keep our family & friends in the loop of what is going on in the McDonley House!!

Until next time,
MUCH LOVE

Rich & Jess McDonley
